Terms of Service
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Educational & Entertainment Disclaimer
Option Chain, our browser-based Game Demos, and tools hosted in our AI Lab are designed strictly for educational and tabletop entertainment purposes. While our games illustrate mechanics derived from real-world financial markets, they represent simplified simulations.
No Financial Advice: Nothing contained on this website, in our printed materials, or in our digital tools constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Upskill Games is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or dealer. Trading real options involves significant risk of capital loss. Always consult a certified professional before executing trades with real money.
1. Overview & Eligibility
This website, physical tabletop games, digital simulators, and related tools (collectively, the “Services”) are operated by Upskill Games, based in Ontario, Canada. By browsing our website, playing our web simulations, or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Our games and digital tools are recommended for players aged 14 and older. To purchase physical products through our online store, you must be of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Orders, Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or update pricing prior to order confirmation.
Payments are processed securely through certified third-party payment providers. Your payment credentials are encrypted and transmitted directly to the payment gateway; Upskill Games does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
3. Shipping & Local Pickup
Processing Time: Physical orders generally take 1 to 2 business days to verify, pack, and prepare for shipment.
Shipping Destinations & Tracking: We offer worldwide shipping. Orders dispatched within Canada and the United States include carrier tracking links sent via email. For international destinations outside Canada and the US, tracking depends on regional postal agreements. Buyers are responsible for any local import tariffs, taxes, or customs fees assessed upon delivery.
Local Pickup: If local pickup is selected at checkout, your order will typically be assembled within 3 business days. Please wait for your pickup confirmation notification before arriving, and bring a matching photo ID. Orders are held for up to 30 days.
4. Return & Refund Policy
If you change your mind, we accept return requests within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Condition: Items must be returned in brand new, unused condition, fully sealed in original shrink-wrap packaging. Unsealed or played games cannot be returned for a refund.
- Process: Email fun@upskillgames.com with your order number to initiate a return.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return postage to our Ontario facility. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot issue refunds for packages lost in transit.
- Refunds: Once the sealed return is received and inspected, the product purchase price will be refunded to the original payment method. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Missing or Damaged Components
If your copy arrives with missing cards, damaged dice, defective pieces, or severe transit damage, we will replace the parts free of charge.
Email fun@upskillgames.com with your name, shipping address, order number (or convention where purchased), and clear photos of the damaged or missing component. We will dispatch replacements at our expense.
6. Digital Demos, Simulators & AI Lab
We provide digital web demos, interactive games, and AI Lab experimental tools free of charge for non-commercial educational use. These digital experiences are provided “as is” without warranties of continuous availability, uptime, or error-free performance.
You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, automated-scrape, or intentionally overload any web applications or infrastructure hosted under upskillgames.com.
7. Intellectual Property
All tabletop games, digital simulators, artwork, card illustrations, written rules, audio/video assets, and software code developed by Upskill Games are protected by intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a game grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to enjoy the physical product. You may not copy, scan, reprint, redistribute, or commercially exploit our game assets without prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and any store purchases shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
9. Product Safety & Limitation of Liability
Safety Warning: Physical board games sold by Upskill Games contain small parts, including dice and tokens. Choking Hazard: Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Keep all small components out of reach of young children and pets.
Financial Trading & Investment Losses: Upskill Games, its creators, and contributors assume no responsibility or liability for any financial decisions, trades, capital losses, or investment results incurred by players or visitors who trade securities, options, or financial instruments in the real world.
Cap on Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to your purchase or use of our products shall not exceed the total dollar amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
